About

Updated 03/09/2024!

My goal -- since the entire time I have been on the internet -- has been to always reflect what I am seeing. And for the most part, the internet has been pretty good. I always managed to get myself in circles that we're much more advanced than my age range... much, much more advanced.

I always had an exposure to the internet since I was a child. This will be my 20th year online -- and I was born in the late 90s, so you can imagine how young I was while being in these highly advanced spaces. Not to toot my own horn -- in fact, it's because I know very, very few people who have had the same experiences that I've had, that I am able to talk about this stuff!

But... due to the fact that I was so so young, I didn't really grasp the concepts that I should've -- I just knew how to follow directions. I loved coding and I loved the meditative function of tweaking something until it's just perfect.

I love revisitng stuff I used to suck at at a single digit -- with all of this learnedness and experience -- and just dominating it! And truly knowing what it means to do this stuff! I'm having a blast and I love that I've been able to help people reconnect with this part of them too!

Now that I've got the hang of making my own website, now, I want to continue to do more stuff that I haven't quite yet tackled. Things I've always meant to revisit but just never saw it because I was, uh, emotionally and energetically stuck at that single-digit timeframe when I just couldn't understand why things happened.

I have been pixeling, making websites, running servers, and more.

check out my project ideas plus why. these are the ones i'm comfortable with sharing and don't mind if they end up being "inspired" lol. just means i should tackle them asap before someone does it better and that's on aries mars conjunct mercury

I have been seeing the astrology, and I have been complaining since 2020 that the internet has changed for the worst. I believe that in 2024, we have the tools and technolgy to make the internet exactly how we want it!

read my internet manifesto here -- all the cool new age webmasters have one!

Now that I'm able to bring my inner child out to play (for the love of the game) then I can focus on all the things I wanted to do. This is a place where I am hosting Open Source Projects to

  1. Have my own personal copy of it. Trying to do this in a meaningful way and not a data hoarding for the sake of it way which leads to
  2. Help maintain projects and maybe make changes of my own!

I really want to be a hot FOSS mama, and be able to help make meaningful changes that make the internet better, easier, and greater.

I used to program stuff to make my job easier from my WFH job, and they paid it dust and they were soft hating because I had the thought to do that at that POS $15/hr job.

But what if I just programmed stuff and tools to make my life easier? What if I had that same exact mindset of me wanting to make stuff of my own back 20 years ago?

So, that's what my focus will be. My previous focus was turning my passions into a career, but... well.. I already wrote about it.
